Time : 8:00 am - 12:00 pm on all days
Venue : Epsom Community Centre, 202 Gillies Avenue, Epsom, Auckland
This workshop caters to all camera users who want to learn the basics of digital photography. It will cover the following:
Basic concepts of light
Digital camera functions
Digital SLR accessories
Factors affecting photographic output
Triangle of exposure
Composition techniques
Taking care of your digital camera
Basic image manipulation and enhancement
Professional Photographers' Tips and Tricks
This workshop will be highly visual. There will be hands-on exercises every meeting. Photo assignment and critiquing will be done to further enhance the participants’ knowledge.
Requirements
Digital camera, preferably an SLR, or digital compact camera with manual mode. You may contact the speaker if you’re not sure about the type of camera that you have.
Computer (a Windows-based computer is needed on the last day for the basic image manipulation and enhancement)

Workshop Fee and Discount
A workshop fee of $170 includes notes and certificate. Payment can be made in cash or through bank deposit.
Due to the limited number of seats, interested individuals are requested to register at least 3 weeks in advance by paying $100 (non-refundable). The remaining balance of $70 is due on the first day of the workshop. A $10 discount will be given to those who will pay in full at least 3 weeks in advance.
